Aromas of ripe black cherries, currants, leafy tobacco, spring flowers and graphite lead into a medium- to full-bodied palate that is round, layered and seamlessly balanced. Fine tannins, integrated acidity and a beautifully persistent finish complete this outstanding vintage. It will benefit from 4–5 years of bottle age and continue evolving gracefully over the next three decades.
