The Cayman Cigar Company Mariner Gordo (6 x 60) delivers a rich, slow-burning experience that highlights the craftsmanship and heritage behind the Cayman Cigar Company brand. Rolled in the Dominican Republic, the Mariner blend features a flavorful Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, a Nicaraguan Sumatra binder, and a blend of Nicaraguan and Dominican filler tobaccos chosen for balance and complexity. This combination produces a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with layered notes of earth, toasted cedar, roasted nuts, warm spice, and subtle natural sweetness.
Cayman Cigar Company built its reputation around a small collection of core blends—Mariner, Monarch, and Sovereign—designed to reflect the relaxed yet refined spirit of the Cayman Islands. The company focuses on carefully sourced tobaccos and classic cigar-making techniques, producing cigars that emphasize balance, smooth construction, and consistent flavor.
In the 6 x 60 Gordo format, the Mariner burns cool and even, allowing the Corojo wrapper’s spice and the filler’s earthy sweetness to unfold gradually. As the cigar develops, flavors deepen into notes of coffee, toasted wood, and soft pepper, finishing smooth and satisfying. The Mariner Gordo is ideal for smokers who enjoy a large-format cigar with refined complexity and a relaxed, maritime-inspired character.
