Casa Montante invites you to indulge in the timeless charm of Argentine Malbec. This richly flavorful wine will captivate your senses with its dark fruit flavors and toasty oak character. Malbec, native to France, arrived in Argentina in the mid-19th century. It was brought over by French agronomist Miguel Pouget, who was tasked with diversifying the country's grape varieties. Soon after the first Malbec vines were planted in Mendoza, the grape found its new forever home, thriving in the crisp air and Andean sunshine. Malbec has since become a pillar of Argentina's winemaking culture and its flagship grape. Mendoza Malbec has garnered an international reputation and solidified Argentina as a powerhouse in the wine industry. Our Casa Montante allows you to enjoy a taste of this impressive history, one sip at a time. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
