This acclaimed red wine hails from Italy, specifically the Tuscany region, with its subregion being Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. Established in 1970, Caparzo is counted among Montalcino’s historic wineries that significantly contributed to the legend of Brunello.
Wine Description
Made from 100% Sangiovese, this wine presents a ruby colour that tends toward garnet with age. The bouquet is described as penetrating, ample, and very complex, with intense and fragrant aromatic notes reminiscent of wild berry fruit. On the palate, the wine is typically dry, warm, firm, harmonious, and persistent, offering a full and juicy mouthfeel with ripe fruit, herbs, and a leathery note.
