The Scorpion Fumas Connecticut Churchill is a reminder that some of the cigar industry's best values begin with exceptional tobacco. Produced by the artisans behind Camacho Cigars in Honduras, Scorpion was created to give premium Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos a second life after they were sorted out of Camacho's flagship production for cosmetic—not quality—reasons. Rather than allowing outstanding leaf to go unused, these tobaccos are blended into a cigar that captures the bold character and impeccable construction of the Camacho factory in a smooth, everyday format. For seasoned smokers, that's exactly the kind of story worth paying attention to.
A silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper tempers the richness of the Honduran and Nicaraguan core, creating a profile that is creamy yet surprisingly expressive. Measuring 7" x 48, the Churchill rewards an unhurried pace, allowing notes of cedar, toasted cashews, fresh-baked bread, cream, and subtle white pepper to emerge with remarkable balance. The longer format gives the blend room to breathe, producing a cool, even burn that evolves naturally without ever becoming heavy or monotonous. It is a Connecticut cigar with enough depth to hold the attention of experienced smokers while remaining approachable enough for any time of day.
The Scorpion Fumas Connecticut Churchill isn't trying to be Camacho—it's showing what happens when premium tobaccos are allowed to speak for themselves outside the constraints of a flagship brand. Honest, flavorful, and remarkably well crafted, it is the kind of cigar veteran enthusiasts quietly keep stocked because they know exceptional value is often found where others aren't looking.
