An extraordinary offering from Camacho, the Pre-Embargo 1962 Toro stands apart as one of the most unique cigars on the market. Featuring a vintage 1999 Jamastran Corojo wrapper, this cigar houses a complex filler blend that includes authentic pre-embargo Cuban tobacco.
A medium to medium-full bodied smoke, it unfolds with rich layers of wood, leather, nuts, and spices, evolving into notes of earthiness, espresso, baking spices, creaminess, and fine leather. Reviews consistently describe its character as buttery, complex, and “Cubanesque,” with occasional hints of sea salt, dark chocolate, and an exotic, undefinable depth delivered by the aged Cuban leaf.
Built on a Honduran core—featuring both Honduran binder and fillers—it marries heritage with innovation in every draw. Though not claiming to be a pure Cuban puro, Camacho acknowledges the inclusion of real pre-embargo Cuban tobacco, elevating the experience with a “taste of the past”.
Camacho Pre-Embargo 1962 Toro—A medium-full-bodied masterpiece with a legendary blend, defined by rich flavors and an illustrious Cuban connection. A must-have for collectors and devotees alike.
Camacho Pre-Embargo 1962 Toro (6 × 48) is available at in 5 Packs.
