Robert Caldwell has become known for his outside the box thinking that brings a delightful originality to his cigars and there is no better example of his immensely gratifying creations than the Long Live The King Jalapeno. This gem is silky smooth and jammed with voluptuous flavors that will delight like no other.
The Jalapeno is a 7.2" x 40 Lancero built around a filler blend comprised of vintage 2006 Dominican Corojo Ligero, 2007 Nicaraguan Habano Ligero and 2008 Peruvian Viso Pelo De Oro tobaccos. A 2009 Dominican Corojo binder and a Dominican Corojo wrapper leaf from 2008 complete the grand smoke.
Once the My Style Is Jalapeno is underway, thick spice and cedar notes latch onto the taste-buds, as hints of earth, coffee and natural tobacco freely flow. A zest of orange peel adds some pizazz to the medium-to-full bodied smoke that finishes with a smooth and wildly delicious flourish.
Quirky name notwithstanding, the Long Live the King Jalapeno is a luxurious smoke that is a clear-cut choice for Lancero lovers and should be considered a must-try for cigar enthusiasts of all levels of taste or experience. These lovelies are available in boxes of 24 sticks and so spice up your humidor today!
