What flavor profile can I expect from the Blue Blend?
The Blue Blend is built for a rounded, approachable cup with moderate roast character. You’ll notice pleasant chocolate and nut notes with a light natural sweetness and a well-formed crema, making it versatile for straight shots or milk-based drinks.
- Medium roast balance with subtle dark-roast depth
- Tasting notes of chocolate and roasted nuts
- Natural sweetness without overpowering bitterness
- Golden crema ideal for espresso presentation
Which machines work with these pods and how do I brew them?
These pods fit Nespresso Original line machines (e.g., Citiz, Essenza, Lattissima, Pixie, Creatista Plus). They won’t fit Vertuo machines. For best results, use standard ristretto (short), espresso or lungo settings according to your machine.
- Compatible with most Nespresso Original machines (not Vertuo)
- Each pod contains 5 g of coffee for consistent dosing
- Sealed pods maintain aroma—insert, brew, and discard used pod
- Works well for straight shots or with steamed milk
How is the coffee sourced and roasted?
Caffè Borbone blends premium Arabica and Robusta beans sourced from South America, Africa and Asia to achieve a stable flavor profile. The roast level is medium, calibrated to highlight sweet chocolate tones while preserving crema and body.
- Blend of Arabica (for aroma and sweetness) and Robusta (for body and crema)
- Beans from multiple regions to balance acidity, sweetness and structure
- Medium roast to preserve flavor complexity and crema
- Pods sealed to protect freshness and volatile aromas
How many pods come in a pack and what serving sizes are best?
This box contains 50 single-dose pods, each filled with 5 g of ground coffee. Use them for short ristretto shots, standard espressos or longer lungos depending on taste; the dosage and crema are intended to suit all three styles.
- 50 individually sealed pods per box
- 5 g coffee per pod ensures repeatable extraction
- Suitable for ristretto, espresso, or lungo servings
- Convenient for home, office, or gift use
