Eight Cleans, Same S15 Formula — Perfect for Occasional Use
The Cafetto S15 1.5g Cleaning Tablets in the 8-pack are the same formulation as the 100-tablet jar, in a smaller quantity suited to superautomatic machines that are cleaned less frequently or to buyers who want to confirm compatibility and performance before committing to a full jar. If your Breville, De'Longhi, Miele, Rancilio, Saeco, Schaerer, SCS, Solis, Stentorfield, or Sunbeam machine prompts for a cleaning tablet every few weeks rather than daily, eight tablets can cover several months of maintenance without the outlay of the larger jar. Same S15 tablet, same automatic cycle dissolution, same non-corrosive formulation — just in the pack size that matches the usage.
Formulated to Dissolve in Automatic Cleaning Cycles
S15 tablets are designed specifically for superautomatic machines that run self-contained cleaning programs — not for traditional espresso machines with manual backflush cycles. When the machine prompts for a cleaning tablet, place one S15 tablet in the designated slot or drawer and let the automatic cycle handle the rest. The tablet dissolves within the cleaning program, producing a solution that removes coffee oils and residues from the brew chamber, group head internals, and delivery pathways at the concentration and rate the cycle was designed for. High-performance and non-corrosive — safe for the internal components of all compatible machines on the S15's list.
8-Pack vs. 100-Tablet Jar — Which to Choose
The 8-pack is the right choice for low-frequency cleaning schedules (monthly or less), for first-time S15 buyers, or for machines that see occasional rather than daily use. If your machine is in regular service and you clean it weekly or more often, the S15 100-tablet jar is more economical per tablet and reduces reordering frequency. Both packs contain the same 1.5g S15 tablets — the only difference is quantity. For the compatible machine list and the S15 vs. E29 tablet size disambiguation, see the full S15 100-tablet jar page at Coffee Addicts.
