Nestled in the Northern part of Italy, the climate in the Garda region is classic Mediterranean—warm, sunny days and idyllic for grape growing. Situated on Lake Garda, Italy’s largest lake, Garda’s landscape includes cypress, olive, cherry, and lemon trees in addition to vast vineyard plantings. A cool breeze comes off of the lake, which moderates temperatures and gives some relief to varietals that grow in the region. The Pinot Grigio grape thrives in the Garda sunshine, giving fruit ample ripening time and an opportunity to develop and retain its natural acidity. With classic citrus flavors, light earthy notes, and a lively acidity, this Pinot Grigio is plush on the palate. This wine is fruit-forward but not in an overly sweet way and is delightfully uncomplicated. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
