Our Burchell Outlook Chardonnay is both charming and wild. This complex white embodies the rugged beauty of South Africa’s Western Cape with rich tropical fruit flavors joined by enticing textures and exotic characteristics. The Western Cape is known for its stunning landscape featuring jagged coastlines, breathtaking beaches, and towering mountain ranges complete with vast plateaus. This region’s diverse beauty also translates to its wines. Vines here benefit from sun-filled days cooled by local winds and oceanic currents, making for an ideal winegrowing climate. Chardonnay is considered one of the most adaptable grape varieties, and it feels right at home in the Western Cape, showcasing its exotic characteristics. Our local winemaking partners, who are one of the oldest family-owned wineries in this region, have spent years harnessing the allure of South Africa’s unique splendor. We now share their delicious success with you through each sip of our Burchell Outlook Chardonnay. Scroll through the image carousel above to learn more about this wine.
