Introduction:
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie is the signature bottling and the definitive Bruichladdich whisky. Showcasing the classic, floral, and elegant Bruichladdich house style, it’s made from 100% Scottish barley and trickle distilled to highlight the barley-forward flavors. With a commitment to quality, this whisky is non-chill filtered, coloring-free, and bottled at 50% ABV to preserve its character.
Tasting Notes:
- Colour: Summer barley, a pale golden hue.
- Nose: Opens with barley sugar and a hint of mint, evolving into fresh wildflowers like buttercup, daisy, and cherry blossom. The maritime influence is present with delicate notes of sea spray, followed by caramelized fruits, lemon drops, honey, and tangerine.
- Palate: Refined and refreshing, the sweet oak and barley notes come together harmoniously with ripe green fruits, brown sugar, and sweet malt, showcasing the remarkable flavor of the Scottish barley.
- Finish: Smooth, well-rounded, and balanced, the finish lingers with vibrant fruit and subtle sea-spray notes.
