Introducing Bruichladdich Octomore Edition 14.2 Single Malt Scotch Whisky—an avant-garde creation that defies the whisky norms. Like its predecessor, 14.2 is distilled from 100% Scottish mainland Concerto barley, malted to an eye-watering 128.9 PPM. However, what sets this edition apart is its extraordinary maturation process. Instead of first-fill bourbon casks, this whisky ages gracefully in a blend of prestigious Oloroso and Amarone wine casks from Spain and Italy respectively.
To enhance its complexity, the spirit is then masterfully united in French oak. The result is a rich tapestry of flavors—layered smokiness harmonizes with the robust notes of dried fruits, nuts, and spice, creating a single malt of unparalleled depth and complexity. A true embodiment of Bruichladdich's 'The Impossible Equation,' Octomore 14.2 pushes the boundaries of what whisky can be.
