Terroir in a Glass
Bruichladdich Islay Barley is one of the most transparent and terroir-driven whiskies produced anywhere in Scotland. Every drop is made exclusively from barley grown on Islay itself — the same windswept, mineral-rich island where it is distilled. By tracing each batch back to specific Islay farms and harvests, Bruichladdich makes a compelling argument that whisky, like wine, can genuinely express the land it comes from. Unpeated, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 50% ABV with no added colour, this is a whisky of remarkable purity and place.
- Nose: Delicate and aromatic — fresh barley, green grass, and citrus zest with a gentle floral lift and a subtle coastal minerality
- Palate: Elegant and precise — creamy malt, ripe pear, and vanilla with a gentle warming spice and a clean, mineral-driven backbone that speaks directly to the Islay soil
- Finish: Long and clean with lingering barley sweetness, fresh fruit, and a soft maritime fade
- Distillery: Bruichladdich, Islay, Scotland
- Style: Unpeated Single Farm/Single Island Malt
- Barley: 100% Islay-Grown
- Region: Islay
- ABV: 50% / Proof: 100
- Non-Chill Filtered | Natural Colour
