This plant-based Bourbon Barrel Aged Worcestershire Sauce is a delicious upgrade from the mass produced stuff in the grocery store. My husband is a worcestershire fanatic and he has proclaimed this to be the best he has ever had. This is the secret ingredient to creating "meaty" flavor in veggie burgers, veggie stock and so much more. It's a shortcut to flavor without processed food.
A finalist for the 2016 Good Food Award, Bourbon Barrel Foods developed a sauce that utilizes the flavors of Kentucky’s Bourbon country. The salty umami flavor from premium soy sauce and tamarind is balanced with the sweetness of Kentucky grown sorghum, blended with pure Kentucky limestone spring water, and mellowed in bourbon barrels that were used to age some of the Bluegrass State’s finest Bourbons. It is all-natural and vegan.
Did you know that most worcestershire sauce gets it's umami flavor from fermented anchovies? If you're not into eating fermented fuzzy fish (we aren't either) this naturally flavored worcestershire gets it's umami from premium soy sauce that has been aged in bourbon barrel casks. The flavor is like the worcestershire you know but way way better.
