One of the oldest wine estates in Burgundy, Bouchard Père & Fils has been producing wine since 1731 in Beaune, a region often considered the “capital of Burgundy.” After generations of acquiring local vineyards, the large estate is now recognized for its adherence to tradition and meticulous winemaking standards. Working with small local producers across the region results in a wine that is consistent and reliable from year to year—the long-standing Bouchard Pere & Fils label means you’re getting a tasty, dependable wine every time. A great introduction to the noble Pinot Noir from its ancestral home in the heart of Burgundy, this wine is as much about aroma as the palate. The nose hints at fresh herbs, cinnamon, and ginger, while in the mouth the wine is soft and subtle: laced with raspberry and strawberry fruit flavors and a savory minerality that brings an earthy, balanced finish. This Pinot Noir is about complexity not power— you’ll want to savor the long finish.
