Boston Harbor Putnam Barrel Aged Old Fashioned Cocktail comes from Massachusetts, drawing on the bold character of New England rye tradition. Crafted with Putnam New England Rye Whiskey, Angostura Bitters, and demerara sugar, this ready-to-drink classic delivers depth without the prep. At 35% ABV, it offers a bar-quality pour straight from the bottle, designed for those who appreciate strong, honest flavors with no shortcuts.
On the palate, spicy rye leads with notes of toasted grain, vanilla, and rye bread, layered with brown sugar sweetness and a subtle herbal bitterness. The finish is warming and earthy, smooth yet assertive. Best enjoyed over a couple of ice cubes in a rocks glass, it’s an effortless way to unwind after a long day, whether at home or shared with friends.
