Bones Coffee Company The Nightmare Before Christmas Mudslide Boogie is a medium-roast flavored coffee that pairs smooth, low-acid Arabica beans with a chocolate-forward mudslide profile for a dessert-like cup.
This limited-edition Mudslide Boogie blend from Bones Coffee Company blends ethically sourced Brazilian Arabica beans roasted in small batches with a rich chocolate and coffee liqueur-inspired flavor. Packaged in a resealable 12 oz bag, the coffee arrives either whole-bean or pre-ground for auto-drip brewers, delivering a balanced medium roast that emphasizes sweetness and low acidity without adding dairy, sugar, or carbs.
What flavor notes will I taste in Mudslide Boogie?
The Mudslide Boogie flavor centers on decadent chocolate tempered by creamy liqueur-inspired accents—think coffee liqueur, vodka, and Irish cream echoed in the roast. The medium profile keeps the cup smooth and slightly sweet rather than overly bitter, with a pleasant aroma that suggests dessert rather than a heavy aftertaste.
- Primary: rich chocolate and cocoa
- Secondary: coffee liqueur, Irish cream nuances
- Mouthfeel: smooth, lightly syrupy finish
- Acidity: intentionally low for a gentler taste
How is this coffee roasted and packaged to stay fresh?
Bones roasts beans in small, controlled batches to preserve each batch’s flavor profile, then seals them in resealable bags to lock in aroma and freshness. The medium roast level aims for a consistent, versatile cup that works for a variety of brew methods when you grind to the appropriate coarseness.
- Small-batch artisan roasting for flavor consistency
- Resealable 12 oz packaging to maintain freshness after opening
- Available as whole beans or pre-ground for auto-drip machines
- Roasted and packed in the USA using ethically sourced beans
Which brewing methods suit Mudslide Boogie best?
Choose whole beans if you want maximum control—grind coarser for French press, medium for pour-over, and fine for espresso-style machines. The pre-ground option is optimized for automatic drip coffeemakers, providing convenience while preserving the blend’s dessert-like character.
- Auto-drip: use the pre-ground option for ease
- Pour-over: medium grind to highlight aromatics
- French press: coarse grind for fuller body
- Cold brew: coarse grind and extended steep for smooth sweetness
Is this flavored coffee suitable for special diets or lifestyles?
Mudslide Boogie contains no dairy, sugar, or carbs in the coffee itself, making it friendly to vegan and keto lifestyles when consumed black or with your chosen compliant creamer. Since the flavoring is applied to the beans and not mixed with sugars, it retains flexibility for dietary preferences.
- Vegan-friendly: no animal-derived ingredients in the coffee
- Keto-friendly: flavoring without added sugars or carbs
- Customizable: add your own milk or alternative creamers
- Low acidity: gentler on sensitive stomachs compared to brighter roasts
Who is this for? Mudslide Boogie is for anyone who loves indulgent, dessert-style coffee without the extra sugars—fans of flavored specialty blends, collectors of themed releases like The Nightmare Before Christmas, and coffee drinkers seeking a smooth, low-acid medium roast. It’s ideal for people who want a convenient pre-ground option for drip machines or the control of whole beans for manual brewing methods.
