Bones Coffee Company Blueberry Blast Cake is a medium-roast, low-acid Arabica whole-bean coffee flavored to evoke buttered blueberry pancakes with a touch of syrupy sweetness.
This flavored specialty roast combines ethically sourced Brazilian Arabica beans with chef-inspired flavoring to create a smooth cup that highlights bright blueberry notes over a gentle, buttery base. Roasted in small batches and packaged in resealable 12 oz bags, this low-acid blend works well for morning pour-overs, auto-drip brews, and coarser French press extraction once ground. The result is an indulgent flavored coffee experience without added sugars, dairy, or carbs—compatible with keto and vegan lifestyles.
What does Blueberry Blast Cake taste like?
The profile centers on lively blueberry and warm bakery tones balanced by a medium roast body and low acidity. You’ll notice a syrup-like sweetness layered with a buttery pancake undertone rather than heavy, artificial flavors.
- Front notes: bright, fruity blueberry
- Mid-palate: buttered pancake and light vanilla
- Finish: soft, syrupy sweetness with low acidity
- Roast level: medium for smoothness and aroma preservation
How should I brew it for best flavor?
Different methods emphasize different facets: auto-drip highlights the straightforward blueberry aroma, while French press brings out body and buttery notes. Grind whole beans to match your brewing method for optimal extraction and freshness.
- Auto-drip: use a medium grind for balanced extraction
- French press: coarse grind to enhance body and oil retention
- Pour-over: medium-fine grind for clarity and pronounced fruit notes
- Cold brew: long steep for a smoother, sweeter concentrate
Is this coffee suitable for special diets or daily drinking?
Yes—this flavored coffee contains no dairy, added sugar, or carbs, making it compatible with vegan and keto diets. Its low-acid roast is also gentler on sensitive stomachs compared with brighter, high-acid coffees.
- Diet-friendly: vegan and keto suitable
- Low acid: gentler on digestion
- No added sugar or dairy ingredients
- Whole bean option preserves freshness until grinding
Where do the beans come from and how are they packaged?
