Bodegas Bianchi is a storied winery with over 90 years of history. Originally called El Chiche, Bodegas Bianchi was founded by Valentin Bianchi in 1928 with the goal of becoming “the small winery of great wines”.
The vineyards and winery are located in San Rafael District, 240 km South of the city of Mendoza, in the province of Mendoza. The company owns 350 hectares acres of vineyards. The winery has a storage capacity of 11,5 million liters of wine between its cellars in San Rafael and the Uco Valley.
Bodegas Bianchi entered a period of steady growth when the second generation of the Bianchi family was given the task of creating new wines and creating new markets for its wine internationally. Today, their wine is exported to more than 40 countries around the world. Now with the fourth generation at the helm, this winery produces wines that respect heritage of San Rafael and also show the evolution and uniqueness of the wines from the Uco Valley.
Bodega Bianchi are a sustainable winery that works to meet the needs of the present without compromising the possibilities of future generations. Thus, the team has a focus on safety, quality and sustainability that goes much further beyond sound agricultural practices, with the goal of making wine wine for the foreseable future and beyond.
Bodegas Bianchi‘s Los Primos line comes from chosen plots that combine the different characteristics of San Rafael terroir and convey a place of origin, a way of living, and their history. Young, friendly, and easy to drink wines, Los Primos wines are ideal for casual dining among friends.
