“Sun & Salt” captures the sweet edge of sunshine and the crisp kiss of sea spray. This micro-batch from Blue Run’s Flight Series III blends carefully selected bourbon and rye barrels—no more than four per expression—to evoke coastlines and long golden hours.
At 110.2 proof, it’s bold yet balanced, with a seaside breeze layered over sun-warmed fruit and toasted oak. The nose introduces banana foster warmth, the palate offers sour apple brightness paired with creamy banana and rich demerara toffee, and the finish dries out like sand underfoot with gentle spice and oak.
It’s not just whiskey—it’s a moment in a glass.
