Introduction
Blindman Five of Diamonds Pilsner is brewed by Blindman Brewing, an award-winning craft brewery located in the heart of Lacombe, Alberta, Canada. Founded in 2014, the brewery is known for its commitment to local ingredients and sustainability initiatives, such as on-site carbon capture and solar energy. This specific beer is a collaboration with their neighbours, Len Thompson Fishing Lures; a portion of the proceeds from every can sale supports fisheries restocking and conservation programs across Alberta.
Beer Description
This German style pilsner pours clean and bright with a pale straw yellow hue and a fluffy white head. The sensory profile features a light malt sweetness on the nose complemented by a subtle floral hop fragrance. On the palate, it is crisp and snappy, offering a refreshing balance of crackery, white bready malts and a light bitterness that is well rounded. The body is light with smooth carbonation, resulting in an easy drinking and mellow finish. It is crafted to be a timeless, classic pilsner with an ABV of 4.8% and a bitterness of 25 IBU.
