Introduced in 1951, Black Velvet Whisky is named for its signature, velvet-like texture. Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Canadian Whisky's smooth quality is the result of blending the whisky "at birth," meaning during maturation rather than later in the whisky-making process.
The Black Velvet Distilling Company is located near the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Whisky is a distinctive blend, infusing hints of sweet caramel into the smooth, easy-drinking flavour you've come to expect from Black Velvet. The caramel, toffee, and cream notes accentuate and complement the woody whisky characters. The palate is rich and luscious with a creamy aftertaste that lingers and delights. A perfect balance of caramel flavour and warm, toasted notes allows its smooth, defined whisky character to come through.
Using crystal-clear Canadian water, plus the finest rye, grains, and corn, the whisky is painstakingly distilled and put up in premium oak barrels to gently mature. Ideal for any occasion, Black Velvet Toasted Caramel Canadian Whisky has a smooth texture that is an ideal addition to countless cocktail recipes. The result is a velvety, rich whisky you can enjoy straight, on the rocks, or blended with your favourite mixer. Enjoy!
