Transatlantic Modern Aromatic Bitters are a complex yet approachable blend, offering a balance of sweetness, bitterness, and surprising fruitiness. We’ve blended the world’s finest bitters to create a versatile aromatic bitters perfect for a wide range of cocktails.
The base combines the classic aromatic bitters of Venezuela and Trinidad, with gentian, clove, allspice, and cinnamon. From New Orleans-style bitters, we add angelica and anise seed. A touch of aloe and chicory fortify the bitterness in the style of Italian Fernet, while chamomile and dandelion represent the Alpine Amaro tradition. Cherry bark and licorice complete the German digestive influence.
Sixteen botanicals make up this one-of-a-kind bitters. Free from caramel color or artificial colorants, the result is a naturally golden bitters with sweetness from licorice root, not sugar.
Aroma: Clove, cinnamon, licorice, chamomile, cherry bark
Recommended Spirits: Whiskey, Rum, Gin, Amaro
Taste: Balanced bitterness with sweet and herbal undertones
