Bertani Amarone della Valpolicella Valpantena 2017 | DOCG | 750ml | 15% ABV
Bertani is one of the original Amarone houses, producing this iconic dried-grape wine since the 1850s. Their Valpantena bottling offers a beautiful introduction to the world of Amarone — rich and complex yet remarkably approachable.
Crafted from partially dried Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, this wine delivers intense aromas of dried cherry, fig, dark chocolate, and warm spice. The palate is full and enveloping — layers of raisin, espresso, and balsamic notes are supported by velvety tannins and a long, warming finish.
Amarone is one of Italy's greatest wine traditions, and Bertani is its most authentic guardian. Luigi considers this an essential Italian wine experience.
Pair with: Ossobuco alla milanese, braised beef cheeks, or a cheese board with Gorgonzola.
