Bérêche & Fils Une Champagne Millésime is a rare, vintage-dated grower Champagne that showcases the singular expression of a specific harvest across the family’s old-vine plots. Crafted from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier, this cuvée is fermented with indigenous yeasts in wooden barrels without malolactic fermentation. Bottled under natural cork for its secondary fermentation (tirage à liège) and aged sur lattes for an extended period, it yields a deep, structured, and vinous Champagne with notes of orchard fruit, toasted nuts, chalky minerality, and vibrant acidity.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted poultry, pan-seared sea scallops, lobster thermidor, grilled veal, wild mushroom dishes, and aged hard cheeses like Comté.
