Belvedere Heritage 176 is a spirit drink made by Belvedere's master rye distillers, who apply fire to the rye before distillation to draw out its nuanced taste. It revives the old Polish malting technique of fire-kilned drying, used by vodka-makers up until the 19th century, which unlocks depth and complexity that would otherwise stay hidden in the grain.
Rye sits at the heart of the brand, and Heritage 176 is built to challenge the idea that vodka should be neutral. The result is rich, full-bodied and complex, with hints of honey, walnut and allspice, alongside the clean, crisp character and subtle grain sweetness of the house style. The mouthfeel is silky, finishing smooth and refreshing.
Bottled at 750 ml. A finalist at the 2020 Ultimate Spirits Challenge with 94 points. Per the distiller, it is best savored over ice with a lemon twist.
