The Argiolas winery, located in Serdiana, Sardinia, is celebrated for its dedication to showcasing the island’s native grapes. 'Korem' is a more elegant counterpart to the winery's flagship 'Turriga' wine, and its label features an ancient Greek coin discovered in the Argiolas estate vineyards.
Wine Description
The wine presents a decisive and vibrant ruby red hue. The aromatic profile is complex and persistent, offering encompassing sensations of black cherry and cloves, which intermingle with notes of violet and pipe tobacco. Hints of blackberry, wild berries, graphite, dark chocolate, and leather may also be perceived.
Food Pairing
It is an excellent match for braised game meat and spicy cheeses. The 'Korem' also pairs well with meals that feature antipasti and pasta, such as semolina gnocchi with basil and pecorino or ravioli stuffed with chard and ricotta.
