This exceptional red wine originates from Tuscany, Italy, a region renowned for its rich winemaking heritage. It is crafted by Tenuta di Arceno, an estate steeped in history where the iconic faun statue on the property serves as the inspiration for the wine's name and label.
Wine Description
In the glass, the wine pours a deep, dense ruby colour. The nose is layered and highly aromatic, revealing dominant notes of violets, ripe plums, and a hint of eucalyptus, alongside subtle undertones of fresh herbs and potting soil. On the palate, it is medium to full bodied, presenting a harmonious balance of power and elegance. Initial sips unfold with rich flavors of candied black cherry, sweet mint, licorice, and balsamic. This Merlot-led Bordeaux-style blend boasts a juicy core of succulent dark berries framed by firm, chewy, yet well-polished tannins.
