Antinori Il Bruciato Bolgheri Rosso 2024 comes from the Guado al Tasso estate in Bolgheri DOC on Tuscany’s Upper Maremma coast. The 2024 blend brings together Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, and Petit Verdot. Selected clusters were destemmed and gently crushed, then fermented and macerated in temperature-controlled stainless steel for approximately 15–20 days. After malolactic fermentation, the assembled wine returned to barriques for at least six months. This exact U.S. unit is 750 mL at 13.5% ABV / 27 proof.
Antinori describes the 2024 as an intense ruby red. Aromas of raspberry, cherry, and other small red fruits are joined by vanilla, tobacco, and a subtle cotton-candy note. The palate is balanced and mouth-filling, with freshness carrying into a persistent, fruit-led finish. The Guado al Tasso vineyards sit in a coastal plain whose nearby sea moderates the climate with consistent breezes. Il Bruciato was first created in 2002 to express Bolgheri’s character in an approachable estate red, and the 2024 continues that style with freshness, precision, and supple fruit.
