Anthony's Organic Lemon Juice Powder is a freeze-dried, cold-pressed lemon concentrate that delivers tart, natural lemon flavor without added sugar or extra liquid.
Made from organically grown lemons, this 12-ounce powdered lemon juice offers a shelf-stable, convenient alternative to fresh lemon juice, zest, or extract. Cold-pressed and freeze-dried to preserve bright citrus notes, it’s verified gluten-free, non-GMO, and contains no fillers or added sugars. Use it where you want lemon flavor without diluting a recipe, or when fresh lemons aren't available.
How do I replace fresh lemon juice with this powder?
Anthony's Lemon Juice Powder reconstitutes easily to mimic fresh lemon juice or can be used dry to boost lemon flavor. For liquid substitution dissolve a measured amount in room temperature water; for dry applications simply add the powder directly to mixes, rubs, or glazes.
- Dissolve 2 tsp powder in 1/4 cup water to replace 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice.
- Make lemonade by stirring 1 tbsp into 8 oz water plus sweetener to taste.
- Add a pinch to doughs or batters when a touch of citrus is needed without extra moisture.
Can I use this powder in baking, sauces, and beverages?
Yes — it’s formulated for versatile culinary use. The powder performs well in icings, cakes, sauces, marinades, and drinks, delivering consistent acidity and citrus aroma without altering recipe moisture levels.
- Stir into frostings or glazes for concentrated lemon brightness.
- Blend into dry spice rubs for poultry, fish, or vegetables.
- Mix into teas, smoothies, or cocktails for instant citrus lift.
What makes this lemon powder a better pantry choice than bottled juice?
Freeze-dried and cold-pressed processing locks in flavor while extending shelf life and removing the need for refrigeration. The powder has no added sugars, fillers, or artificial ingredients, and Anthony’s batch testing ensures it meets gluten-free and non-GMO standards.
- Freeze-drying preserves volatile citrus aromatics for a fresher taste profile.
- No added sugar means you control sweetness separately in recipes.
- Powder form keeps shelves tidy and lasts longer than fresh juice.
How should I store and measure the powder for best results?
Keep the container sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from heat and sunlight. Use dry measuring spoons for accuracy, and stir or shake the powder before measuring if it has settled.
- Store in an airtight container after opening to retain aroma.
- Measure with teaspoons or tablespoons for reliable flavor dosing.
- If reconstituting, dissolve completely in room-temperature water for uniform acidity.
