A beautifully balanced Italian herbal amaro with depth, warmth, and compelling complexity, Amaro Dell’Etna Antico Amaro d’Erbe is a refined exploration of Sicily’s volcanic terroir and botanical heritage. Now offered in a set of six (6) 100ml bottles, it unfolds with bright herbaceous aromatics, gentle bitter-sweet interplay, and a lingering, savory finish—ideal for sipping neat, on ice, or in elevated cocktails.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Amaro Dell’Etna Antico is crafted on the slopes of Mount Etna in eastern Sicily, where fertile volcanic soils and Mediterranean climes nurture an abundance of aromatic plants and wild herbs. The ingredient list is a carefully guarded blend of local botanicals—aromatic herbs, roots, flowers, and barks—each selected for its distinctive character and affinity with the amaro tradition.
Following an artisanal philosophy, the botanicals are macerated in a base spirit to extract essential oils, resins, and aromatic compounds. After blending, the spirit undergoes gentle aging that allows the herbal elements and spice notes to harmonize with sweetness and bitter nuances. The 750 ml format—newly adopted for greater accessibility and versatility—makes this expressive amaro well-suited for both home bars and cocktail programs, without compromising its artisanal essence.
Tasting Profile
Nose:
Inviting and herb-rich, with distinct aromatics of wild fennel, sage, rosemary, and mint, layered over citrus peel and soft spice earmarks.

Smooth, persistent, and gently warming, with lingering herbal complexity, faint citrus brightness, and a refined bitter-sweet resolution that invites the next sip.
