Alvear Brandy Gran Reserva 25 Year Old originates from Spain, in the South region within the subregion of Montilla Moriles. Founded in 1729, Bodegas Alvear is one of the oldest family owned wineries in the country and has maintained its rich heritage for generations. The historic estate is globally celebrated for its exceptional expression of local varieties and masterfully crafted traditional spirits.
Spirit Description
This premium Spanish brandy displays a bright mahogany color with an ancient gold and reddish hue in the glass. The powerful, deep, and complex sensory profile features an appealing nose driven by distinct aromas of old wood, baked spices, and notes of pastry. On the palate, the liquid is elegant and delicate, showcasing a satiny texture and a muted sweet note that reminiscently honors a very old Pedro Ximenez. Flavors of nuts and spirited wood coat the mouth, leading into an incredibly long, persistent, and warm finish. This carefully crafted spirit is aged through a traditional solera system in ancient American oak casks and is bottled at an alcohol by volume of 40%.
