#9 of Top 25 Cigars of 2018, Cigar Aficionado
93 points, Cigar Aficionado
The Alec Bradley Black Market Estelí Torpedo is a "stand-up, law-abiding cigar" that earned its legendary status as the #9 Cigar of the Year. While its name suggests intrigue, the experience is one of pure, balanced power. This 6½" x 52 vitola features a tapered head that delivers a weighty, substantial smoke to the palate, highlighting a sophisticated narrative of earthy minerals and roasted coffee. The blend’s intensity is perfectly counterbalanced by sweet, concentrated notes of raisins and cocoa, making it a remarkably smooth journey for such a full-bodied smoke.
