Alec Bradley's American Sun Grown Gordo cigars are one of the best values in the cigar world for smokers that enjoy a complex and full-bodied experience from their cigar. We're talking flavors ranging from cocoa and cinnamon to creamy notes, leather, and some cigar fans even reporting hints of… blueberry? Yes. This smoke is one you won't want to miss and the Alec Bradley American Sun Grown line is generally considered one of the best values you'll find anywhere when it comes to a great smoking experience without having to take out a second mortgage on your home to light up.
Alec Bradley Sun Grown Robusto cigars feature filler tobacco from the Esteli and Condega regions of Nicaragua, both of which are famous growing regions known for high-quality cigar tobacco. Don't be surprised if you find an oily wrapper right out of the box with some small veins in the wrapper. Once you light up, you'll get a decent amount of smoke from this cigar along with a blitz of flavor that some say comes together and almost mimics the taste of pie crust.
These Alec Bradley Sun Grown Robustos are pretty much the same cigar as the American Classic line. However, the Sun Grown line-up is made with a Nicaraguan sun-grown habano wrapper. That habano wrapper makes for a much richer experience that delivers more flavor than the shade grown line can.
Complicated, complex, yet delightful, you get a ton of cigar for the money with these Sun Grown cigars. As for flavor, be ready for flavors ranging from creamy to leather and some smokers even find themselves taking in a fruity cold draw at times that is amazing to experience.
