Introduction:
Aldegheri Santambrogio Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore is a prestigious red wine crafted for aging, produced from grapes grown in the hilly vineyards of Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella. Using the traditional ripasso method, the wine is re-fermented on the marc of Recioto and Amarone, enriching its depth and structure.
Tasting Notes:
-
Nose: A complex bouquet with prominent aromas of plum and cooked marasca cherry, complemented by layers of earthy depth.
-
Palate: Full-bodied and robust, offering a harmonious balance between rich fruit, refined tannins, and a long, satisfying finish.
Winemaker's Notes:
Made from a blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and other old indigenous varieties, this Ripasso wine showcases the elegance and strength of Valpolicella’s finest terroir. The ripasso technique adds intensity and complexity, making it ideal for those who appreciate structure and bold character.
