The Eiroa family will forever be linked to the Corojo leaf, as they have been instrumental in the legendary tobacco’s rise outside Cuba. Led by Julio R. Eiroa, the Eiroa family has spent over 50 years developing the Cuban-seed tobacco. Their richly flavorful Authentic Corojo leaf forms the heart and soul of many of today’s top-rated smokes, including Julio R. Eiroa’s Aladino Corojo Toro.
The Aladino Corojo Toro is a 93-rated 6” x 50 jewel handmade at Eiroa’s Las Lomas, Honduras factory, Fabrica de Puros Aladino. The Honduran Puro features an all-Corojo blend cultivated on the Eiroa family’s farms in the fertile Jamastran Valley, where the climate and soil are ideally suited for the Corojo leaf.
The Aladino Corojo Toro is a sumptuous Top 25 Cigars of the Year winner that oozes richness and complexity. The medium-plus smoke centers around a core of pepper, oak, cedar, and spice flavors. Hints of leather, cinnamon, nougat, floral, and earth weave through the satisfying smoke before a thick textured finale that is at once sweet, spicy, and robust.
Part of Julio R. Eiroa’s JRE Tobacco portfolio, the Aladino Corojo Toro is a modern classic that harkens back to pre-embargo Cuban cigars and a harmonious melding of body, taste, smoothness, and character. The Aladino Corojo Toro reminds us that cigars don’t need to come from Cuba to be unforgettably satisfying.
