Julio R. Eiroa and the JRE Tobacco Company are renowned for taming the difficult-to-cultivate, Cuban-seed Corojo leaf, with the Aladino range proving the ultimate Corojo showcase. For those searching for the more elegant side of Corojo tobacco, Eiroa presents the silky Aladino Connecticut series. While Corojo tobaccos are central to the blend, they are paired with a Connecticut wrapper to deliver a mellow yet endlessly flavorful experience.
The Aladino Connecticut Robusto is a 5” x 50 option using Honduran long-filler Authentic Corojo tobacco grown on the Eiroa family’s farms in the Jamastran Valley. An Authentic Corojo leaf is also used for the binder. Surrounding the Corojo core is a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper leaf.
Once you settle in for the Aladino Connecticut Robusto experience, you’re treated to wave after wave of earth, white pepper, baking spice, cedar, lemongrass, and oak notes. Hints of sourdough, leather, and orange peel tease in the background while a thick creamy undercurrent runs throughout the medium-bodied smoke.
With a smooth, beautifully balanced character, the Aladino Connecticut Robusto offers cigar lovers a mellow Honduran-grown and crafted experience like no other. Enjoy the Aladino Connecticut Robusto with morning coffee, afternoon ales, or well-oaked chardonnay for deeply rewarding results.
