Julio R. Eiroa and his family have done more to develop the Corojo tobacco leaf outside of Cuba than any other, cultivating the famous tobacco in the fertile Jamastran Valley of Honduras. The Aladino brand is Eiroa’s flagship line under the JRE Tobacco banner that showcases Eiroa’s Honduran Corojo leaf. Adding a lavish twist to the classic Corojo character is the Aladino Cameroon Robusto, featuring a luxurious Cameroon wrapper.
The Aladino Cameroon Robusto features a specially developed Cameroon leaf that merges the sumptuousness of traditional African Cameroon wrappers with a more refined elegance imparted by the ideal Honduran climate and soil. The Cameroon leaf surrounds a binder and filler blend of Authentic Corojo tobaccos grown on Eiroa-owned farms throughout the Jamastran Valley. The velvety 5” x 50 Robusto cigars are handmade at the Eiroa family’s Fabrica de Puros Aladino at Los Lomas, Jamastran.
The Aladino Cameroon Robusto presents a delicious medium-plus excursion, kicked off by natural earth and wood flavors. Splashes of toast, peppercorn, and cream dance with the tastebuds before the rich yet balanced finish concludes with a sweet and nutty flourish.
The Aladino Cameroon Robusto is a fantastic option for cigar smokers wanting to tone down the boldness that often comes with Corojo Puros while maintaining a refined, complex smoke that does not shy away from rich taste.
