Abdel "AJ" Fernandez rocketed to the top of the cigar world where he has firmly entrenched his brands as some of the most enduringly satisfying on the planet. Bringing his father, Ismael on board for collaborative efforts has only strengthened the foothold of AJ Fernandez cigars. And there is simply no better example than the New World Gordo vitola that they have dubbed, Virrey.
Available in boxes of21 giant 6.0"x 58 cigars, the AJ Fernandez New World Virrey is stuffed with an exuberant blend of Nicaraguan Condega, Ometempe and Finca Soledad Ligero filler tobaccos that are crammed into a Jalapa binder leaf and topped with a dark Nicaraguan Oscuro wrapper, creating the ultimate big-boned Nicaraguan Puro.
Once the hefty New World Virrey is happily alight, a complex whirlwind of coffee, earth, wood, pepper, toast and cocoa flavors flutters over the palate while hints of spice and cream perfectly fill out the deliciously entertaining medium-to-full bodied adventure of well over an hour.
Another finely crafted creation from Tabacalera Fernandez, the New World Virrey is the cigar smoking experience aficionados have been waiting for, delivering a smoke that has the size, the deeply developed character and the scrumptious flavor to be top dog of any humidor.
