The New World line is a crowd-pleaser that began as a collaboration with Fernandez’s father, Ismael, that has blossomed into a top destination for cigar lovers searching for great taste, smoothness, and value. AJ Fernandez works his magic once again to bring a richer, more luxurious character to the series with the 92-rated New World Dorado Figurado.
The New World Dorado Figurado is a beautifully eye-catching 6” x 56 cigar tapered at both ends. The binder and filler blend comprises Nicaraguan tobaccos, most of which come from AJ Fernandez’s Dorado or “Gold” tobacco farm. The savory blend is covered with a Sun Grown Habano wrapper from Nicaragua. What follows is an extraordinary Nicaraguan Puro experience of over an hour.
Every puff of a New World Dorado Figurado brings thick leather, white oak, pepper, herbal, nut, coffee, and spice notes. Earthy and creamy layers build atop one another as faint orange zest, and lemon rind flavors add complexity to the medium-to-full-bodied smoke. The finish is big and toasty, with hints of sweetness.
From the first puff to the last, the New World Dorado Figurado sets the “gold” standard for the New World series, taking its place as the line’s most exquisite top-shelf offering. Enjoy an evening of Nicaraguan carne asada, Gallo Pinto, and Nicaraguan rum to take this Nicaraguan Puro to another level.
