Aganorsa Leaf cigars first hit the market under the Casa Fernandez name, reflecting the Fernandez family’s legacy as one of Nicaragua’s biggest tobacco growers and suppliers. Today the brand bears the name of the famous tobacco leaf Eduardo Fernandez and his family offer through their massive Nicaraguan tobacco growing and supplying enterprise, AGANORSA. One of the original Casa Fernandez blends to make the transition to the rebooted Aganorsa Leaf portfolio is the exquisitely complex Aniversario Corojo.
An always-in-demand favorite, the Aniversario Corojo Toro is a 6 ¼” x 52 cigar that lures you in with its appealing soft box-press shape. The blend is a thrilling mixture of Nicaraguan Aganorsa leaf binder and filler tobaccos with a rich Aganorsa Corojo wrapper leaf. What follows is a thrillingly flavorful smoke of over an hour.
The Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Corojo Toro is an uber-complex experience, offering up initial natural tobacco and earth flavors. Once the medium-to-full-bodied smoke hits its stride, cedar, pepper, and coffee notes ooze out of each draw, with hints of chocolate and raspberry not far behind. A sweet and creamy character grows throughout the final third of the bold yet silky-smooth experience.
The Aganorsa Leaf Aniversario Corojo Toro is a memorably satisfying smoke that will especially appeal to discerning palates, offering a great many subtleties and evolving nuances. If you want to discover what makes Aganorsa leaf tobacco so famous, the Aniversario Corojo Toro is the perfect choice.
