Aberargie Inaugural Single Malt is the debut release from the family-owned Aberargie Distillery in Perthshire, Scotland. Crafted using estate-grown Golden Promise and Laureate barley, this "field-to-glass" whisky is matured in an equal combination of first-fill Bourbon barrels and first-fill Sherry casks. Bottled at 48.2% ABV, it is presented in its purest form—non-chill filtered and with natural colour. The nose offers inviting aromas of baked apple, golden pastry, honey, sultanas, and soft oak spice. The palate is rich and elegant, featuring layers of stewed orchard fruits, vanilla, toasted coconut, buttery pastry, and dried fruit, while the finish is long and balanced with gentle baking spice and a subtle herbal note. A refined inaugural release that showcases exceptional craftsmanship, provenance, and the distinctive character of Perthshire single malt.
