Le Grand Rebossan is produced by André et Michel Quenard, with Guillaume (son of Michel) joining in 2009, on the very steep Torméry slope south of Chignin . It is 100% Roussanne (locally called Bergeron), grown on south-facing limestone scree soils on very steep slopes, hand-harvested, fermented with native yeasts, and aged in oak foudre for around 15 months on fine lees kept in suspension . The wine is bottled at 12.5% alcohol under the Chignin-Bergeron appellation in Savoie .
