By being part of the Sociway community, you commit to treating others with respect and responsibility — not just online, but in real life too. These guidelines are here to help us all build a safe and welcoming environment.
🤝 1. Respect and Empathy Come First
Everyone is equal here, regardless of culture, language, religion, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, body, or any other difference. Discrimination, bullying, hate speech, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
🗣️ 2. Real Connections with Real People
Fake profiles, hiding your identity, or pretending to be someone else goes against the spirit of Sociway. This platform is for building genuine and meaningful connections.
📩 3. No Place for Inappropriate Messages
Sociway is not a dating app. People are here to make social travel plans. Inappropriate, sexual, harassing, or persistent messages are strictly prohibited.
📍 4. Know and Respect Boundaries
Some users may choose to share their location, while others may not. Never invade anyone’s privacy or personal space. Persistent behavior, stalking, or crossing boundaries during in-person meetups is not acceptable on Sociway.
📢 5. Be Careful with Personal Information
Avoid publicly sharing your phone number, email address, social media accounts, or detailed travel plans. It’s also not appropriate to ask others for this kind of personal information.
🧾 6. Be Mindful with Shared Content
Never share someone else’s messages, photos, or travel plans without their permission. All content you share should be accurate, respectful, and honest.
🚫 7. No Spam or Abuse
Posting ads, sending automated messages, creating misleading content, sharing harmful links, or using the platform for malicious purposes is not allowed. If such actions are detected, your account may be permanently suspended without warning.
🔞 8. Age Restriction
Sociway is for users aged 17 and above. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
⚖️ 9. Respect the Law
You must always comply with local and international laws. Illegal content or behavior is strictly forbidden on Sociway.
👤 10. You Are Responsible for Your Account
Your account is personal. Sharing it with others or transferring it to someone else is not acceptable due to privacy and security reasons.
💬 11. Behavior Outside the App Matters Too
Even when communicating with someone you met on Sociway outside the app, you are still expected to follow these community guidelines. Harassment, threats, or harmful behavior — even outside the platform — will be taken seriously.
🚨 12. Report and Protect
If you feel uncomfortable, witness a rule violation, or encounter a suspicious situation, please use our reporting system or contact us at support@sociway.app. Your report will remain confidential.
🔁 13. What Happens When Rules Are Broken?
Violations may result in a warning. However, for serious or repeated offenses, accounts may be suspended or permanently banned without prior notice.
These rules apply to all users — including premium members — and membership fees are non-refundable in case of violations.
